← Back to PurrvioA LITTLE HELP, WHEN YOU NEED IT

Back in the loop.

A few useful places to look if your companion needs a hand.

I don’t see the cat.

Purrvio runs as a menu bar utility. Use its menu bar icon and choose Show Notch Panel. On a screen without a notch, look at the top center. Hover near the panel to expand it; if hover is disabled, click instead.

My agent isn’t showing up.

Start a supported agent and wait for the next scan. Check All sessions in the dashboard. Claude Code and Codex have the richest session support; other recognized tools may show State unavailable. Protected session records can require additional file access.

Terminal navigation or replies aren’t working.

For Ghostty, check System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation and allow Purrvio to control Ghostty. Terminal.app supports focusing an existing tab, while direct replies require Ghostty. When a session has several possible terminal matches, choose the right existing tab in the app’s session chooser.

Live terminal text still asks for permission.

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Device Control and Data Access on macOS 27, or Accessibility on earlier macOS. Enable AgentManager, the system entry for this Purrvio build. If it is already on, switch it off and on. Quit and reopen Purrvio, then choose Check again.

macOS won’t open the app.

I’m not getting system banners.

Notch notices are the default and do not need macOS notification permission. If you want system banners too, enable them in Purrvio’s notification settings and allow them in macOS.

Help improve the preview.
